In Sixth Form there can be a range of challenges such as: Overcoming the nerves and anxiety of starting a new school or Falling behind in your studies. There is always a way out. The next slide is a true story… We can all use examples of real life challenges to inspire us to overcome our own problems

4. Craig Dietz was born on April 13, 1974. Despite being born without limbs, Craig was a very active kid-bowling in a league, hunting, fishing, playing percussion in the school band, and was a member of the High School honour society.

9. Over coming the stress of Sixth Form is a challenge, it can be very stressful for some adapting to sixth form life.

10. Sixth form is full of mental challenges, and one man who became successful after overcoming many mental challenges was Steve Jobs. We can take inspiration from him by working hard to accomplish something through innovation and effort.

11. If you set goals for yourself, you will work harder to try and achieve those goals, because you feel motivated by having a mental challenge. Have an end-goal in sight What do you want to achieve in Sixth Form?

12. Nelson Mandela set himself the challenge of freeing South Africa from apartheid; that was a huge goal, that he was able to achieve.
