8 CIL-NET, a project of ILRU – Independent Living Research Utilization 7 Resources http://ncil.org/conference/ADRCTranscript.html http://ncil.org/conference/ADRCTranscript.html http://ncil.org/conference/ADRCTranscript.html This “ADRC Action Hub” portal shares information with the CIL Community and Aging network, including: “CIL Pathfinder for Services and Programs for Older Americans”, a joint project between the Rehabilitation Research & Training Center on Independent Living Management and the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Act, informs CILs on the Aging Network and explores areas of collaboration; extensive examination of both communities. Areas for potential collaboration between CIL and AAA organizations - including transportation, employment, emergency preparedness, housing, accessibility, community education and awareness, deinstitutionalization, aging and disability issues, assistive technology, home modification, assisting caregivers, voting and collaborative grant development. A comparative analysis of services and programs offered by both communities. The ADRC/NCIL Principles.

Scrolling down to the link entitled “ADRC TAE Project Director Orientation” the reader discovers a slide deck that provides an overview and history of the ADRC Project. The resource offers an overview of the TAE website, also. This is a current resource developed in November, 2011.

Discusses the various models (including CILs), fully-functioning criteria, funding sources for sustainability, and data collection. “Criteria for Fully-Functioning ADRCs” updated in June, 2010. Describes the program components, the criteria, recommended metrics, and methods to define and evaluate ADRCs. “TAE Training for Options Counselors” outlines the core functions of options counseling and includes topics to sustain partnerships and funding. “Independent Living History and Philosophy” provides the reader with an orientation by IL national staff. “Wisconsin Sample of a MOU” between the ADRC and the CIL.
