3. “NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME”
1. Christians are faced with Multiple Challenges to their FAITH everyday of their lives. 2. There are those times when it feels like everything has and is going wrong. 3. Nothing is going right and it doesn’t appear that anything ever go right.

4. “NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME”
4. No matter the circumstance the Christian must resolve to continue to follow God and not be moved from that path no matter what Satan hurls at us. 5. This is Satan’s Goal – To get us to Move From Following God.

5. “NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME”
6. WE MUST BE WILLING AND READY TO STAND FIRM - I CORINTHIANS 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

6. “NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME”
7. We must RESOLVE within ourselves to say as we sing in the song, “I SHALL NOT BE MOVED”
But We Need Encouragement to Make our Stand.
* We find encouragement in the lives of others
* Our lives help others to make their Stand.

7. I. Things That Could Not Move Paul
We know the life of Paul before he became the beloved Apostle. ACTS 21:39, 22:3-5
i. He realized he was lost. I TIMOTHY 1:15
Not worthy to be an Apostle I COR 15:9
ii. But because of what Christ came to mean to him, the adverse things which came his way COULD NOT MOVE HIM.
B. Paul realized where he had been (LOST) and where he now stood (SAVED).

8. Things That Could Not Move Paul
1. Persecutions – even when he did not know what it would be that he would have to face. ACTS 20:22-24 – Only the Holy Spirit knew. 2. Being Stoned in Lystra and left for dead. ACTS 14:19 3. Beaten and Cast into Prison (2nd journey) ACTS 16:19-24

10. II. OTHERS THAT WERE UNMOVABLE
A. HEBREWS 11 gives us the role of those that were UNMOVABLE.
NOAH - even though he looked foolish to the world and preached for 120 years with no response to his message of repentance.
MOSES -His stand for God brought punishment on his own people, but he was not moved.

3. JOUSHA - He saw the giants of the “promised land” NUMBERS 14:6,7 4. DANIEL – TOLD NOT TO PRAY – Cast into the Lions Den - PRAYED ANYWAY DANIEL 6: THE THREE HEBREW CHILDREN – Told to worship the “golden image of Nebuchadnezzar – would not move from their stand for God. DANIEL 3:1, 6, Note 15-18&29

12. III. WHY COULD THEY NOT BE MOVED?
They looked beyond this life.

B. They had a REAL FAITH IN GOD.

A. Some of the Things that MOVE us that we Need to Guard Against.
Wanting to Please people instead of God
Friendship of the World vs. Christian friendships.
False Brethren - II PETER 2:1-3

14. SOME THINGS THAT MOVE US
HUSBAND, WIFE, CHILDREN, PARENTS MATTHEW 10:34-38 LUKE 12:51-53 MONEY MATTHEW 6:24 “…can not serve God and mammon”

15. V. THERE ARE SOME THAT NEED TO BE MOVED!
THE LOST
ACTS 22:16 “ And now why are you waiting? Arise, and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”

16. Conclusion Consider with me; PSALMS 1 – “Blessed is the man….”
TAKE YOUR STAND FOR THE LORD.
STAND ALWAYS – SAY - NO MATTER WHAT,
“ NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME.”
