2 66 Chapters - A Miniature Bible 39 chapters – filled with judgment 27 chapters – message of hope 40:1 “Comfort, yes, comfort My people! Says your God.” Ends with “new heavens and new earth” (66:22,23)

4 Background Isaiah was married, had at least two sons, 8:3; 7:3 Time or place of death not known – tradition says he was sawn asunder by a wooden saw at decree of Manasseh (via Justin Martyr).
