The United States Flag represents the entire country. Fifty stars represent the fifty states and thirteen stripes represent the original thirteen colonies that became the first thirteen states. The Statue of Liberty is a sign of friendship between countries and represents hope and freedom. The Liberty Bell was rung to summon citizens and mark important meetings or events. The Bald Eagle represents strength and freedom. The White House is a symbol for the government. The National Anthem is sung to show honor and loyalty. United States Symbols and Their Meanings
