10 10 Reserve Requests  Assignments & Transfers - Member submits E-Resume - Approval via chain of command - ISC (pf) locates unit for assignment - Considers needs of service/degree of fit/RCD (100 miles w/gov’t meals and quarters; 50 miles without) - E-7s and O-4s should expect to be reassigned

11 11 Reserve Requests cont’d  Annual Training (ADT-AT) - Member requests reserve orders (CG-3453), 4 weeks prior to report date, consecutive or non- consecutive, min. 12 days, max. 15 days per fiscal year - Travel is authorized for ONE round trip from home to normal duty site if beyond RCD, including non-consecutive

12 12 IDT Authorizations  Travel - Only TDY and entitlements when other than normal drill sites (iaw JFTR) PSC Customer Care 1 866 PSC-USCG  Berthing - Yes, if traveling > 50 miles  Meals (enlisted) – COMRATS - <50 miles, lunch only - >50 miles, breakfast & lunch - if required to stay overnight and live <50 miles, lunch, supper, breakfast, & lunch - if required to stay overnight and live >50 miles, breakfast, lunch, supper, breakfast & lunch

13 13 Participation Standards for SELRES  Complete IADT  Schedule yearly IDT drills in DA/Report per orders  Attend 90% of drills (43)  Perform 12 days min., 15 days max. ADT-AT (may be waived by unit CO iaw COMDTINST M1001.28A 4.A.4)  Answer Official Correspondence/ASQ  Notify Changes and Update Information in DA  Maintain Physical Fitness/Weight Standards (iaw COMDTINST M1001.28A 4.A.2.I)  Officers need 50 retirement points per anniversary year

14 14 Reserve Readiness  Medical and Dental - Current medical physical every 5 yrs or 12 mos. if over age 50; dental every year  Enlisted Quals - Meet CPRL quals - Complete Individual Development Plan (IDP) - Complete Personal Fitness Plan  Family and Employer Readiness - Medical – DEERS, TRICARE Enrollment - Admin – ID Cards - Financial - Know employee rights (USERRA and ESGR)

15 15 Training Requirements  COMDT Unit-Level Annually - Workplace Violence - Suicide Prevention - Family Advocacy - Drug/Alcohol - Sexual Harassment - Interpersonal Relationships  UCMJ – within 6 mos. of enlistment, and upon every reenlistment  COMDT Unit-Level Triennially - Human Relations Awareness  Unit Specific Annually - OPSEC - AIS Security - Emergency Action Plan  Unit Specific Semiannually - Judgmental Pistol  Resident Training - “A” and “C” schools
