Rosa Parks Fought for freedom of segregation and discrimination Had courage to stand up for herself and other African-Americans Refused to move to the back of the bus where the “colored” people were supposed to sit Got the rules changed; black people could sit wherever they wanted, bus driver must respect all riders, and black people could apply for drivers positions

Jesus Christ Sacrificed his life and died on the cross for us Jesus was nice to everyone and never sinned He helps people through their problems and he is always there for them to talk Jesus protects me, I can always talk to him, and he forgives everyone’s sins Without him we wouldn’t have the great people we have today He keeps people from doing bad things, because they know they will be sinning against god
