11. When Laura received her First Communion she made these choices: -First: to be a friend of Jesus always - Second: to live as Jesus would like and with much love for others - Third: to do all I can to make Jesus known and loved by all, especially by my mother, who is always very sad

16. Laura, at her school in Junín: Cared about the poorest children in her school. Knew how to give a helping hand to little children - helped them comb their hair, keep their rooms tidy and explain difficult lessons to them. Cared much about her mother and wanted to see her happy. She obeyed her and helped her to be courageous.
