—That changed the world! Adapted from a text by James A. Francis

There was once a little boy who was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman.

When He grew up He worked as a carpenter until He was thirty, and then for three years He was an itinerant preacher.

He never wrote a book or held an office. He never owned a home nor had a family. He never put His foot inside a big city and never traveled two hundreds miles from the place where He was born.

He never did one of the things that usually accompany greatness. He had no credentials but Himself. He never did one of the things that usually accompany greatness. He had no credentials but Himself.

While still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against Him and His friends ran away. One of them denied Him. He was turned over to His enemies and went through the mockery of a trial. 9 He was nailed to the cross between two thieves. While He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only piece of property He had on Earth—that was His robe. When He was dead He was taken down and laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend. He was nailed to the cross between two thieves. 10 Now Nineteen centuries have come and gone, and today He is the centerpiece of the human race.

For more PowerPoint shows visit:www.tommyswindow.com To many, Jesus Christ is only a person, a subject for a painting, a heroic theme for a pen, a beautiful form for a statue & a thought for a song; but to those who have heard His voice, who have felt His pardon, who have received His benediction, He is music, warmth, light, joy, hope & salvation, a Friend Who never forsakes, Who lifts us when others try to push us down. We cannot wear Him out; we pile on Him all our griefs & troubles. He is always ready to lift us; He is always ready to help us; He addresses with the same Love; He beams upon us with the same smile; He pities us with the same compassion. He is Love!
