1 SDSI 5 Minute Quick Pitch Template Guidelines
This template serves as an example but includes all the necessary content that investors will expect to hear in your five minute presentation; modify as appropriate to make sure your company’s story is presented effectively. Goal of the five minute pitch is to get the next meeting to give your full 15 minute presentation. The five minute presentation is best told as a “story” of you and your business, the slides should be a supplement only to illustrate your story Maximum of 5 slides Does not distract from your presentation Absolute minimum text. Do not overpopulate the slides. Use pictures and graphs when applicable Branding is very important If practical include product demonstrations and samples Suggested speaking points are located in notes section Tips: Star of the 5 minute presentation is you the presenter, not the slides. The ‘Quick Pitch’ is not an abbreviated 15 minute presentation and the purpose is not to secure funding, rather to generate interest from potential investors and stakeholders to secure a follow-up meeting.
