6. Stages of volcano The activity of volcanoes may last from less than a decade or more than 10 million years. Geologist often describe volcanoes as living, sleeping, and awaken. The active or alive shows signs of erupting. Next comes the dormant volcano witch is expected to erupt in the future. Finally the extinct volcano is unlike to erupt again.

7. Other types of volcanic activity Hot spring is made of heated water by magma. Hot springs could also become a geyser.

8. Monitoring volcanoes Volcanoes give warnings before it erupts. The movement of magma moves into the magma chamber. The volcanoes main pipe can trigger a earthquake or earthquakes.

9. Volcano hazards When your living by a dormant volcano be unaware of the danger. Mount St. Helens viewed as a peaceful mountain. When Mount St. Helens woke up from it’s 123 year slumber.
