4. Accept Whatever God Offers Be satisfied  “Father knows best” (Matthew 6:8)  No murmuring (1 Corinthians 10:10)  “Godliness with contentment is great gain” (1 Timothy 6:6-8)

5. Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of what you already have

9. Be Unaware of Our Own Importance Related to love  Genuine love (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)  Not just the appearance of humility (Colossians 2:8)

10. Be Unaware of Our Own Importance Opposite of pride  Pride makes one seek honor (Matthew 20:21)  Concerned with who is the greatest (Matthew 23:5-7)  Prides leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:18; James 4:6; 1 John 2:15-17)

11. Conclusion Have you submitted to God? Are you humble enough to change?
