New Center of Lodz The project "New Center of Lodz" is part of the urban planning program, the so- called brownfield sites. local revitalization program. It consists in building a new center of town, near railway station and the historic boat Factory CHP EC1. Interesting architecture, cultural events attract a diverse service and accessibility have a chance to transform the boat into an attractive metropolis.

Multimodal hub Lodz - Fabryczna - A new communication system One of the key elements of the New Centre of Łódź will be creation of a multi- modal hub, whose heart will be moved underground and equipped to handle the high speed railway station Łódź Factory. The proposed hub will combine the functions of urban transport, regional and international level. Platforms at train station will be located at 16.5 m below ground level, while the positions for long-distance buses will be located at 8 m below ground level. At the same level will operate a network of underground streets.
