2 Why would they be unconscious ?  Electric shock  Overdose  Alchohol  Heart attack  Hit by something  Force  Fainting  Temperature/heatstroke  Fear  Hunger  Head injury  Dehydration  Shock  Drowning  Panic attack  Loss of blood  Not enough air  Choking  Obesety  Dizzyness  Stroke  Illness  Phobeia

3 Recovery position  See if theres any danger  Shout for help  Open airway  Listen to breathing for 10 seconds  Shake  Pinch  Recovery

4 Why put into recovery position  It prevents the casualty's tongue from blocking their airway.  It keeps the casualty in a safe position if they have to be left alone.  It promotes drainage of fluids, such as blood or vomit, from their mouth.  It keeps the casualty in a safe position if they have to be left alone.  If the casualty was left on their back their tongue could relax and block their airway  Roll the casualty onto their side as shown. Gently tilt their head back to open their airway.  Monitor the casualty until emergency help arrives
