2 NAAE Upper Division Scholarship Eligible applicants: Students majoring in ag ed Awarded only during student teaching semester Apply the May before your student teaching semester *Previous recipients are not eligible Award: 15 scholarships of $750.00 each Sponsor: National Geographic Learning | Cengage Learning & proceeds from the ticket raffle at the NAAE convention Submit applications online by May 15 th. naae.org

3 NAAE "Teachers Turn the Key" Professional Development Scholarship Eligible Applicants: NAAE members in their second, third, or fourth year of teaching who have not previously attended NAAE Convention Recognition: Scholarship for registration to NAAE Convention Four (4) nights hotel (double occupancy with fellow TTTK participant) Airfare or mileage to attend the NAAE annual Convention Special programming during convention geared toward early career teachers Sponsor: Ram Trucks As a special project of the National FFA Foundation Submit applications online by May 15 th. naae.org

4 NAAE "Teachers Turn the Key" Professional Development Scholarship Changes in TTTK Program for 2015 States may submit only one application per state. All eligible first-ranked state winning program applicants will be selected. Changes in TTTK Program for 2016 2016 Applicants may apply if they have previously attended NAAE convention. naae.org

5 NAAE Outstanding Young Member Eligible applicants: NAAE members who have completed at least 3 but not more than 5 years of teaching. Teachers currently in their sixth year of teaching may apply. Recognition: Lodging and travel costs to NAAE convention for winner Registration to NAAE Convention Engraved plaque Luncheon held on behalf of winners **Previous regional winners not eligible to apply Sponsor: John Deere ( As a special project of the National FFA Foundation) Submit applications online by May 15 th. naae.org

6 National Agriscience Teacher of the Year Award Eligible applicants: NAAE members who have inspired and enlightened their students through engaging and interactive lessons in the science of agriculture. Teachers who have received this award or have been named as National Agriscience Teacher of the Year Finalists are ineligible to apply. *each state may submit one state winner for the national judging Recognition: Six regional winners will be selected Winners will be recognized onstage at the National FFA Convention Lodging and travel costs to attend NAAE Convention Registration for the NAAE convention Grant to purchase agriscience equipment/supplies (potential – based on sponsorship) Engraved plaque Sponsor: PotashCorp (As a special project of the National FFA Foundation) *sponsorship pending Submit applications online by May 15 th. naae.org

8 NAAE Outstanding Middle/Secondary School Ag Ed Program Award Eligible applicants: Agricultural education programs in middle & secondary schools. *Previous winners may reapply for this award every 5 years Recognition: Lodging and travel costs to NAAE convention for one individual Registration for NAAE Convention for one individual Engraved plaque Invitation to a special dinner held in winners’ honor Sponsor: Monsanto & AGCO (As a special project of the National FFA Foundation) *sponsorship pending Submit applications online by May 15 th. naae.org

9 NAAE Outstanding Postsecondary/Adult Ag Ed Program Eligible Applicants: 2-year postsecondary institutions or full time young farmer and adult ag ed programs. *Previous regional winners may reapply for this award every 5 years Recognition: Lodging and travel costs to attend NAAE Convention for winner Registration for convention Engraved plaque Invitation to a special dinner held in winner’s honor Sponsor: Monsanto (As a special project of the National FFA Foundation) Submit applications online by May 15 th. naae.org

10 NAAE Ideas Unlimited Award Eligible Applicants: Any current NAAE member with an outstanding teaching idea *Must have been a member for 3 years previous to application or since he/she began teaching Recognition: Registration for the NAAE Convention Engraved plaque $400 travel stipend to attend NAAE convention and present a professional development workshop about their award-winning idea Sponsor: National Geographic Learning | Cengage Learning Submit applications to NAAE office via email by May 15 th *Region 1 must submit by April 1. naae.org

11 NAAE Outstanding Cooperation Award Eligible Applicants: Organizations, agribusiness companies, and others who support agricultural education Recognition: Engraved plaque at the NAAE annual Convention Registration to the NAAE Convention Plaque Sponsor: Forrest T. Jones & Company State winning applications should be brought to their respective NAAE Regional leadership conference for judging. naae.org

12 NAAE Outstanding Service Citation Eligible Applicants: Current and retired NAAE members who have made significant contributions to agricultural education at the state, regional, and national levels. Recognition: Engraved plaque presented at NAAE convention Registration to the NAAE Convention Sponsor: Monsanto (As a special project of the National FFA Foundation) State winning applications should be brought to their respective NAAE Regional leadership conference for judging. naae.org

13 NAAE Lifetime Achievement Award Eligible Applicants: Retired NAAE members who have made Significant contributions to agricultural education at the state, regional, and national levels. Recognition: Engraved plaque presented at NAAE convention Registration to the NAAE Convention Sponsor: Ford (As a special project of the National FFA Foundation) State winning applications should be brought to their respective NAAE Regional leadership conference for judging. naae.org

14 Professional State Association Award Eligible Applicants: State associations who have engaged in certain well- planned activities designed to serve the best interest of the members and the profession. Recognition: Recognition at the NAAE annual Convention Associations should submit applications to their Regional Vice President by September 1. naae.org
