Blog #1 The first day in the Capitol was not what I expected. The people here are so different and so annoying. They are completely clueless about our struggles in District 12. It completely upsets me that these crazy Capitol people treat me like I am an animal at the zoo, like I am someone on display for them to gawk and look at in amazement. I am part of their games. They have no idea what the real me is like. They don’t know who I am or the struggles I face. How sad I am that I have to fight and kill innocent people in the area! This is not what I wanted. Because I might eventually have to destroy them all. I have to try to make it out of the games alive. I have to try to win. Not try. I will win. I can’t walk away from Prim, from Gale.
