8. USE OF ICT STANDARDS Malaysian TIGeR E-Logistics Project (Phase 2): (under trial) RosettaNet compliant (3B18 PIP) Involving shippers, Dell, Intel, forwarders, customs 80% of declaration info comes via RosettaNet PIP; 20% data entry by forwarders Minimum human intervention

9. USE OF ICT STANDARDS ebXML Pilot Project: Participation in ebXML Asia Committee (eAC) Invoices from consignors/forwarders/exporters Evaluating ebXML solution providers Fully paperless environment (electronic declarations & electronic invoices)

10. USE OF ICT STANDARDS Participate in works of WC0: Customs Data Model Unique Consignment Identifier Security initiatives: 2 CSI pending ports (Port Klang & Tanjung Pelepas) Discussion with US Customs underway 24-hr rule By October 2003
