6 Your Opportunity… Awards – 2 teams of 2 faculty from distinct/ interdisciplinary majors Stipend Part I (Spring 2005) - $312.50 per faculty– development & preparation Stipend Part II - $312.50 per faculty– upon completion of collaborative effort

7 What is Required? Collaborate with a faculty member from a cross disciplinary major Develop and implement the course in 2005-2006 (Dean’s approval) Distribute evaluations Attend end-of-year awards ceremony

8 The Proposal (3 pages) I. The intended courses – Summarize objectives How community service will enhance objectives? Copies of both syllabi II.The community service – What type of organization? What kind of work? How will it benefit everyone? How will you develop community relationship? How help students understand significance of their participation?
