Title page: This is the page where you see the title at the beginning of the book(not the cover)
Table of Contents chapter titles and the page you will find the chapters on.
Preface: tells you why the author wrote the book, found at the beginning of the book

Index: a list of different topics found in that book, found in the back of the book, not all books have one
Appendix: The extra information the author may have left out, put at the end of a book.
Glossary: Find the meaning of words you read in the book

Gives very specific information – details of contents of the book

Helps put information in order
Reduces the time you hunt for information

The extra information put at the end of a book.

Gives you information or charts that the author may have left out when writing the book.
