Australia is composed of six states. 22.787.576 people live in Australia. The land down under is the nickname of Australia because it is below the equator. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide are the largest cities in Australia. Australian dollar (AUD) is the currency in Australia.
