2. Power of Attorney HomeBridge will allow the use of a Power of Attorney (POA) on an exception basis to:  Active Military Personnel, or  Active Military Contractors For any other extenuating circumstances, HomeBridge must Prior Approve the POA request. POA is not allowed on a cash-out refinance transactions

3. Power of Attorney  POA is allowed for closing only; it cannot be used for the execution of the initial application and disclosures.  POA must be specific to the transaction  POA must include the borrower name, property address and loan amount  If there are two or more borrowers on the loan, at least one borrower must be present for the closing and sign for the absent borrower (as their attorney-in-fact)  The POA must be recorded along with the mortgage
