5. Visual Aids Visual aids can b give structure and pace to your talk b act as an alternative to notes b reinforce key points b demonstrate structure b present information graphically b help maintain audience interest

6. The presentation b Look at your audience b Do not read out your notes: use instead  cards with key words/phrases or  headings on OHT b Have a plan b Vary your pace and style b Have an appropriate ending
