1. { Where Satan’s Throne Dwells Revelation 2:12-17

2. And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write,' These things says He who has the sharp two- edged sword: " I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. Revelation 2:12-17

3. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Revelation 2:12-17

4. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. " He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it." ' Revelation 2:12-17

6. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Revelation 2:14-15

8. Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? Romans 6:16

9. and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 2 Timothy 4:4

11. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. Acts 8:22

12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

13. He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two- edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. Revelation 1:16

14. “hidden manna” - is suggested by some to refer to God’s sustaining care. To he who overcomes

15. “white stone” - believed to be by some as a reference of vindication (in jury trials a white stone indicated acquittal; that the accused is free from the charge of an offense). To he who overcomes

16. “a new name” - some believe this could be the name of Christ. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. – Revelation 3:12 To he who overcomes

17.  We cannot endure false doctrine.  We must rebuke them and repent if we have been involved also.  If we fail we will be judged, if we overcome we will be given the “hidden manna”. What about today?
