2. The last day of Operation Torch 2009 was to be a special one First of all, it was time to pack up and make sure luggage and travellers were on the bus.

3. Before the group was divided, a big hand for the greatest busdriver in the world: Jos! THANK YOU for your care and safe driving.

4. Harry and Christian, our guides, took the group to Son, to the edge of the DZ and LZ North of Eindhoven

10. A visit to the exhibition of a friend near the bridge which blew up in WWII before the 506th PIR could cross it.

11. A stop at the monument for temperary cemetery “WOLFSWINKEL”, along Hell’s Highway

12. Part of the group was invited to the Freedom Lecture But let’s go back a little.

13. To hear Lt Col Megellas and Gen. Petraeus speak. A real treat!

14. During lunch, General Petraeus came over to meet with the group

15. Excellent, indeed.

16. A real honor to meet with one of the great men of our times. And a delight To be able to coin him first….

17. We join the group again in Saint Oedenrode Sharing experiences and a drink
