Schools to produce organic food for their Mid-day Meal requirements. (A teacher growing green in the South Bronx, USA) 5. Rice Harvesting machine (Only grains are harvested leaving the rest behind) Dr. Namavalar Model By the year 2050, the worlds population is projected to be 9 Billion. For sure INDIA’s population is to be very high. Without active participation of the younger generation feeding INDIA’s population may not be possible. Younger generation’s technology knowledge is very much important factor in bringing Technology to the farming community. These kids needs to love doing agriculture and for that they have to know farming is. Kids has to know that the vegetables they eat does not grow in the near by shops but from the mother earth.

2 Cell Phone App (Indian Government) Almost Everyone has a cell phone now. -A Cell phone app need to be developed by Indian Government and distributed. -Since government has all the data, it can provide the necessary information to the farmers. Some information like, -Detailed Weather. -What to plant in this current season based on their location. -When water will be released in the river. -What are the government schemes available to take advantage of. -How and whom to contact for information. -SMS … -Etc., -Help line dedicated for farmers questions by districts. -State government can handle these requests.

3 Crowd Funding Platform (Website and Governance) -Government to raise funds for Agriculture related projects. -It can be extended for other projects as well. - Execution of the projects given to NGO’s and Not for profit Organizations. - Problem with government projects is execution. It lacks execution discipline. - Community involved will be a lot in this model. - De centralized because of the execution given to NGO’s.

5 Schools to produce organic food for their Mid-day Meal requirements. (A teacher growing green in the South Bronx, USA) -This needs technology help in infrastructure. -Educate the kids about the importance of Agriculture. -Hand-on practical classes on how to do agriculture -Those classes should be started from 1 st standard itself. -The schools has be produce their own food for their Mid-day meals -With Proper organic food, cereals mal nutrition can be eliminated. 6 Rice Harvesting machine (Only grains are harvested leaving the rest behind) -Needs to be build if there isn’t one available -Leaving the rest behind will be the manure and feed for the livestock like cows, buffaloes. -The eco system is maintained. Indians to agriculture for thousands of years. Getting the best practices and implementing with the help of technology will make this process Sustainable.
