1. Onward Referrals - Purpose Transmission of essential information about the patient, reason for referral and their journey so far. To enable receiving Board to put patient on right pathway and manage their journey (e.g. triage, vetting, booking, listing, next steps of journey and required timescales). To feed back essential information about the progress of the patient’s journey and its conclusion to enable the sending Board to report on 18 Week performance.

Work strands 1.Agreement of Minimum Dataset - especially essential ‘Pathway Status’ data items 2.Encourage use of existing SCI Gateway form to transmit Onward Referrals - potential tweaking of form following conclusion of 1 3.Feed-back Loop to Sending Board - definition of Data and process 4.Auto-population of onward referrals from PAS systems to SCI Gateway

3. SCI Gateway Requirements spec produced. Feasibility Project in progress. Need volunteers to draft ‘business level’ requirements for third party systems (Trak, ISOFT, Helix etc.) Needs approval of development project.
