(This may be a list) 2.List several examples from either people you personally know, or those in movies and film, or that you have heard about/read about in various media sources. 3.Choose one and write a paragraph about why they fit the definition you gave in #1, or why nobody fits that list. 7 Warm up #6 Presidential? 12-11-13 Read: As you probably know by now, Nelson Mandela, a civil rights leader and former president of South Africa died last week. During his funeral, (After giving one of the speeches honoring Mandela) this Picture, of President Obama and 2 other world leaders, taking a selfie, was taken by the press. Write: Is this behavior appropriate for a leader of our country? Has our use of technology crossed the line? Why or why not? Be specific with your explanation. 9 Warm up #8 Scariest place12-17-13 Describe the scariest place you have been or the scariest event you have been a part of. Get specific. If you can’t think of one, what would the scariest place be for you? Include details. Write for the entire 5 minutes.
