3. Help us save the TURKEYS! Our class has been working on a Family Turkey Project. This project was meant for the child and parent to work together as a team to create a turkey. I provided them with the turkey and the object of the lesson was to disguise the turkey to save it from Thanksgiving dinner. After, the children returned their turkey we attached a story to the turkey.

4. I am thankful for…. During the writing center, the students wrote about what they are thankful for. After they completed their story, they typed it on the computer. The results were amazing! Short assignments such as this one is a great way to incorporate technology in the classroom. Starting out with simple assignments and gradually moving onto something more difficult will be easier on the students in the future.
