Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. 2 Ministry Notes Stewardship Notes Prayer Notes Camp Information is now available on the table near the White Pines Store. Pick up your copy. First-time guests: Thank you for being part of the White Pines congregation today. We have gifts for you in appreciation for trying a new church experience. The Food Bank at the YMCA needs donations of peanut butter, tuna, canned meat, soups with protein (chicken & vegetable beef), canned fruit, and applesauce. Use the barrel in the YMCA lobby. Thank you. Peanut-free zone Due to a life-threatening peanut allergy in our congregation we are a peanut-free zone for all snacks and refreshments. Thank you for honoring this when you provide food. Stewardship Thought: Find out how much God has given you and from it take what you need; the remainder is needed by others-St. Augustine. Financial Gifts: The offering is a affirmation of faith that we are God’s people giving God’s money for God’s purpose in God’s world. Thank you for your gifts. May your giving come from, or lead you to, a joyful heart. Aileen Leipprandt is our Intercessory Prayer Team Leader. Prayer request will be listed in the bulletin for three weeks for your prayers in worship or during the week. Praise for recent grads. Prayers of guidance for them on their new journey. Let them know that they are always loved and supported by White Pines (Morgan Eaton). Children in Foster Care (Sears Family). Marilyn Davis (lung cancer) prayers for healing. Prayers for the upcoming wedding of Collin and Lindsey (Nancy VanderMeer). That all nations find peace and the resolve to end violence against humanity (Fischer Family). Pray for high school graduates as they embark on new paths (Leipprandt Family). For all those who mourn, especially families of soldiers, sailors, and airmen (Sears Family). For Matthew as he struggles with accepting an impending divorce and his role as a father (Leipprandt Family). Prayers for children who will be attending Camp New Day this summer and for all who are volunteering at camp to help make a positive change in their lives (Cathy VanderMeer). Open Communion In The United Methodist Church, communion is celebrated at an open table. This means that all persons who, by faith, desire to know God’s peace, forgiveness and wholeness in Jesus Christ are welcome. Children brought by their parents also are welcome as an expression and extension of their parents’ faith. You do not have to belong to any particular church or denomination to be a “qualified” participant. The meal (juice and bread) comes from Jesus, and the love God offers us through him has no barriers
