Mat Temperature - the contractor will not allow traffic on the newly compacted mat when the temperature is in excess of 140 °F.

The use of a release agent in the hopper of the material transfer vehicle or paver hopper anytime during the paving operation is not allowed.

7. www.dot.state.pa.us District 8-0 QA Review Trends Summary E & S Follow preconstruction meeting requirements with CCD’s and perform maintenance inspections at frequency required by permit, including post precipitation event site inspections. The prime contractor should be signed as a co ‑ permittee for all projects, and should be performing site inspections as required by the permit. Check on contractor to make certain all non ‑ functioning BMP's throughout the entire project are corrected immediately.

The contractor must properly monitor evaporation rates (max 0.15 lbs/sf/hr.) at the start of placement and every hour thereafter.
