You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. {3} When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

4. Contentment (Proverbs 14:30) A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. (Proverbs 15:16) Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil. (Proverbs 17:1) Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife. (Proverbs 23:4) Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint.
