9 Urban Reporters with Rural Service

10 Urban Reporters & Rural Data Every Urban Reporter must divide their VRM data among all geographies served Rules for Rural Reporting – Service starting and ending in a rural area must be attributed to rural areas – Service using 5311 operating assistance must be attributed to rural areas 10

11 Changes from New NTD System States may authorize a subrecipient to input data directly into the State’s NTD report New system will integrate validation checks – States will no longer be required to use Word documents to manage validation – Issues will fire within the reporting system 11

13 Common Issues Data Entry – Missing digits, too many digits, skipped fields Operating Expenses – Not limited to §5311 reimbursement. Agencies should report the full cost of general public transit 13
