After a baseline survey we found that all most a major portion children of tribal community in Ajodhaya hill are either, dropped out, non enrolled or, Irregular. The main reasons behind it is communication problem between the teachers and student, when they teaching in the classroom, because most of the teachers are Bengali and they speak in Bengali and they use Bengali in class. On the other hand, tribal children are speak in tribal language, therefore, education is not easy accessible to the children in I & II class student, so they compel to leave school in class I & II, where government is totally silence. In this regard, MLC has introduced, pre-school educational program through tribal version in hill areas by involving the local tribal youths and developed educational materials like script, IEC in “ALCHIKI” for easy accessible to the tribal children.

And have some short story books, so that the children could be realize with their natural environment. In every days with out Sunday the Library is opened at 10 am. And closed at 5.30 p.m.. Positively. It has been maintained by the local beneficiaries as volunteer services. Most of the peripheral children are fully benefited specially in education aspects by that initiatives. And the community people can thought ownership feelings on it, therefore, they takes it as their only resource center as betterment of their child future. Now it properly maintained with full educational kits like, books, story, map, IEC materials, pictures and other educational equipment's. Instant problem faced: people’s demanding more higher class educational books and install another library in the project out side villages, who are still out of educational facilities, instead of scattered inhabitant.

9 About Mid-Day Meal: we have initiated to serve mid-day meal for the children for 20 days in each month with locally collected vegetables and fuel wood from the jungle. The community people have formed a group within the beneficiaries which group are following the mid-day meal smooth running. The Children’s mothers are involved in food making process regularly as nursing mother. After initiation of mid-day meal the child attendance are gradually increasing in the pre-primary center and find well child attendance in the center regularly. Problem faced : Due to unavailability of local vegetables in some season as a drought prone area and low allotment for child we can not maintain standard and can not provide nutritious food to the children properly.
