There was no vital difference between the information. The reason I did this project is because I love to skateboard and I thought it would be very interesting. The wind could have effected my data. But I don’t think the wind had much of an effect. No errors but I did fall ounce while doing it. I have learned that the position I was using all along was the best way.

How will different positions effect the hieght of your heel flip? Well it all depends on how you skate. If you feel more comfortable in one position or the other.

MV. Foot positions. RV. Height of heel flip. CV. Skateboard. CV. Person doing the heel flip. CV. Same ground level.

Materials Skateboard, trucks, wheels, bearings, grip tape, raisers, and hardware.

Procedure 1.Have a all the materials showed 2. Use the position number one. 3. Put it all together with tools under parents consent. 4. Have two friends/parents willing to help you. 5. Have one friend behind you with a ruler. 6. Have the other friend in front of you with a camera. 7. Do the heel flip and take a picture. 8. Consult with your friends what the hieght was 9.Record data 10.Repeat trials 1-9 ten times.

Foot position one. The first position is the one I prefer not to use because it decreases the height of my normal heel flip. You put your feet on the skate board your back foot on the tail of the skateboard and you front foot in the middle of the skateboard with you toes hanging off the east. Then Ollie and kick your foot forward. After you do this process it should spin the board. When you see the grip tape re appear slam your feet down and try to land on the skateboard.

Foot position two. This position is the one I prefer to use because it is more comfortable for me and it gives me a better outcome in the end. For this position you have to put your back foot on the trail of the skateboard exactly the same as the first trial. But your front foots heel should be hanging of the west side and your toes in the middle off the skateboard. Then you Ollie and kick your foot up then out. It gives it a slower flip witch increases the hieght and it is easier to land. I think this position well definitely get the highest average.

Heel Flips vs Height Jumped

Conclusion. My hypothesis was correct. As I put my feet in the position described in foot position two the height of my heel flip increased. The average of this position two was 13 ½. The other positions average was 11 ½. This supports my hypothesis. Therefore if you put your feet in the position described in position two. You will most likely have a the maximum height increase in your heel flip.
