3 IS THERE SOMETHING WE CAN DO?

4 YES!! We can start recycling our rubbish.

5 RECYCLE Recycling is a process where discarded materials are collected, sorted and processed into raw material and can then be used to produce new products.

6 What Can We Recycle? We can recycle many things...like: METAL PAPER GLASS PLASTIC BATTERIES/BULBS ORGANIC RUBBISH And many others….

7 WHAT IS ORGANIC RUBBISH? Organic rubbish is anything that comes from plants or animals that is biodegradable.

8 HOW WE CAN USE ORGANIC RUBBISH Organic rubbish can be: a) COMPOST: the manure that comes out from the organic rubbish. b) BIOMETHANE: the fuel that comes out from the organic rubbish.

9 What is compost Vegetables and fruits, leaves and grasses,(organic waste), instead of thrown in the bin, can be recovered and converted into useful fertilizer for the garden or pots. This process is known as composting.

10 HOW WE TAKE COMPOST First a truck gets the waste and after several procedures we have the compost.

11 What is biomethane Biomethane is the fuel that comes out from organic rubbish.

12 HOW WE TAKE BIOMETHANE First organic rubbish go through several procedures and at the end we have biomethane.

13 WHY COMPOST? Because we protect our planet from global warming.

14 It is a safe method and everyone can do it!

15 We save energy, money and work! 

16 SO… DON’T WASTE YOUR WASTE!
