Homes arranged in groups WEAPONS/TOOLS - canoes for fishing, shells as jewelry, baskets used for many reasons

SOCIAL LIFE Lived in communities of 2,000 people Houses were grouped together November was rabbit hunt month Were nomadic (traveled around following food-no permanent home)

ASSIGNMENT OF ROLES Men were the hunters of the food Women were the gathers of the food

RELIGION Feared spirits of the dead. Once you died everything you had was burned including the body and the name was never spoken of again.
