be BLESSED by GIVING Phil 4:17- Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.

John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Rom 11:36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Col 1:15-17 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. It’s All His (It all belongs to Jesus)

It’s not our time, it’s not our talent, it’s not our treasure. It’s all His!! (King David understood this) 1Chr 29:16-17 16 “O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own. 17 I know also, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. It’s All His (It all belongs to Jesus)

Pattern of God and our motives our motive is to please God - the reward is a blessing from God 1) God gives a promise/instruction 2) We obey by taking action by faith, with proper motives 3) God fulfills promise Salvation – Rom 10:9 Healing – James 5:15-16 Provision – Phil 4:15-19 Obedience + Faith + Right Motives = Blessing

Phil 4:15-19 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV)Matt 6:1-4 1 Take heed that ye do not do your alms (charitable giving) before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms (charitable giving), do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms (charitable giving), let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms (charitable giving) may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Mal 3:10-11 10 ”Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try me on this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts Mark 12:41-44 – Jesus sees the heart of the giver. Equal sacrifice, not equal giving! Tithes Equal sacrifice, not equal giving.

Forgiveness Mat 6:14 Mercy Mat 5:7 Love Energy Money 2Cor 9:6-8 2Cor 9:6-8 6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. If you want more of something – give it away (Kingdom Principle)

Unforgiveness? Faith? Judgement, Covetousness? Unfaithful (cheating, stealing)? Good soil? Wrong motives? Out of order? Why might you not be receiving a blessing from your giving?
