2 Quality resources for the mathematics classroom Reduce your workload and cut down planning Enjoy a new teaching experience Watch your students interest and enjoyment grow Key concepts focused on and driven home Over 150 files available with many more to come 1000’s of slides with nice graphics and effects. 3 Notes Teacher Notes:  You need the sound on!  Photocopy sheet (double sided) and give one to each pair.  Ask them to choose a horse that they think will win.  You will need to run this for 20 to 30 minutes with a class of around 30 to get a decent set of results.  Enter results in the second row of table (editable)  Discuss the reasons for 7 winning (ask about opposite sides of a die).  Complete table of outcomes with students and relate distribution of results to table. (Ask some probability questions).

P(7) = 6/36 = 1/6 We can use the table to calculate probabilities for other outcomes. Class Results
