2. The definition Rape is a crime to force another person to unwilling have sex with you.

3.  Every 45 seconds someone in the United States is sexually assaulted  1 in 10 men is raped in his lifetime  1 in 15 rape victims contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD) as a result of being raped  More than 61.5% of rapes are never reported to law enforcement  73% of sexual assaults were perpetrated by a non-stranger.  43% of rapes occur between 6:00pm and midnight. 2  24% occur between midnight and 6:00am.  The other 33% take place between 6:00am and 6:00pm  15% of sexual assault and rape victims are under age 12

4.  In 2011in a small town in TX an 11 year old girl was raped in an abandoned trailer by men ranging from teenagers to men in their 20’s. 28 individuals ultimately could be charged.  The girl was first assaulted at a house near the trailer, where several young men told her she would be beaten up if she didn't submit  Residents who live nearby told The Associated Press this week that they had seen the girl, dressed provocatively and in makeup, hanging out near the area. “Maturity or not I'm pretty sure she knew what she was doing“  Indictments in the case allege that before the Nov. 28 attack, the girl also was assaulted on Sept. 15 and Oct. 25. Each of those times, at least two individuals were involved.  Thirteen adults and five juveniles have been arrested so far.

6.  I think rape is very wrong and I do know of people that have been raped and I feel very sympathetic towards them. Jokes made about rape anger me sometimes because its not a joke I think that if someone gets convicted of rape their sentence should be 10 years or more

7.  My grandma was raped when she was 12 years old and became pregnant with my Mom. She hid the pregnancy as long as should could and by the time it was discovered it was to late to do anything about it
