2  Keep the learner interested  Don’t distract your audience with crazy template designs  Don’t go off topic  Use visuals to keep learners on point with your topic but don’t get crazy.

3  Power point has multiple tools such as :  Font/size/color  Bullets  Clip Art/Pictures  Slide Themes  Smart Art Graphics/Tables  Spacing/ Paragraph Format  Don’t be afraid to use them

4  1. Use plain text, don’t write with CAPS for your whole slide, its tires the eye.  2. Font color needs to easy to read.  3. Use bold and italics sparingly.  4. Leave some “white” space.  5. Effects should not be over done. Use the same one.

5  Cut out the adjectives you want to be clear.  As the speaker you can fill in the rest of the information.  Chop out all information that is not relevant.

6  All content pages should be the same, except the Title page  Inconsistent slides distract the learner from your message.  Stick with one theme or create your own template using the tools discussed earlier
