1 1 MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Registration Guidelines The Vendor Registration System supports two different approaches to registration. The vendor may register all of their locations under one location or register each vendor location separately. Vendor’s Decision FactorsChallenges Single Vendor Registration Ease of registration; Want the ability to manage all location information at the corporate level All locations will sell the same commodities/services Locations will not compete with each other All location information must be maintained centrally All bid responses must be submitted centrally All locations must sell the same commodities/services Multiple Vendor Registrations Some locations plan to sell different commodities Some locations plan to compete with each other for business Separate locations may have different requirements which can be confusing to the buyers Locations must manage their own profile information Each location must register separately for sourcing events in order to participate

2 2 MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Registration – Corporate Level The Vendor Registration System supports two different approaches to registration. The vendor may register all of their locations under one corporate location or register each vendor location separately. 3 3 MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Registration – Corporate Managed Under the ‘Corporate Managed’ approach, the corporate office will register all locations. The corporate office will receive all purchase orders and payments for all locations. The corporate office will also be responsible for responding to all solicitations. Corporate Managed Corporate Location 1 Location 2 Vendor A: Registered one location in order to receive all purchase orders and payments at the corporate office. Vendor B: Registered all locations, but elected to receive all purchase orders and payments at the corporate office. Vendor B will disburse POs and payments to the appropriate location as necessary.

4 4 MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Registration – Location Registration Under the ‘Location Registration’ approach, the corporate office will register each of the locations. Each location may specify where to receive purchase orders and payments. All locations will be registered under the same commodity code selection. Only the corporate office will respond to bids. Vendor C: Registered all locations under the corporate office. Purchase orders and payments will be received at the selected location. Location 1Location 2Location 3 Corporate Corporate Registration- Location Managed

5 5 MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Registration – Location Managed Under the ‘Location Registration’ approach, each location will register itself as a unique entity. All purchase orders and payments will be received at the entity. The entity may respond to solicitations allowing them to bid against each other. The entities may also select their own commodity codes. Vendor D: Registered each location as a separate entity. Purchase orders and payments will be received at the location. Vendor D # 526 – Miami, FL Vendor D # 14 – Cape Coral, FL Vendor D # 206 – Fort Pierce, FL Location 1 Location Registration
