9 HONEY HEARTS by Zlatica Dinjar On the Christmas occasion, honey hearts were used to decorate the Christmas tree as the familiy didn't have the money to buy all the luxurious Christmas decorations. The ribbon we used to put honey hearts on branches was the colour of Croatian national flag: red-white-blue.
