3. Elephants are the biggest four-legged animals. They are grey and sometimes white. They haven’t got hair. Elephants come from Africa and Asia.

4. African elephants have got very big ears and Asian elephants have got little ears.

5. The elephant has got a very long nose-a trunk and two long white teeth- tusks.

6. Elephants eat a lot of food. They eat leaves, grass, and fruit. An elephant eats a lot of food and drinks a lot of water.

7. Elephants can swim-they are very good swimmers. Elephants love water.

8. When the elephant sleeps, it usually stands. And as you know elephants help man work.

9. There are many films and cartoons about elephants. My favourite film is “The present for the Elephant”
