10 Choices in RDA Core and “Core if” elements –E.g. Name of publisher is a core element –Name of distributor is core if Name of publisher is not available NLNZ activity – looking at LC additions to RDA’s core element set as candidates for additional core elements for NLNZ Alternatives, optional omissions, etc. –Alternatives –Either/or –Optional omission –Optional addition –“If it is considered important for identification or access” NLNZ activity – looking at LC policy statements and our current policies and creating draft decisions
