Continuous / progressive casting

Casting is provided without moulds. It is: 1. Die casting 2. Permanent mould casting 3. Centrifugal casting 4. Continuous casting
5
Continuous casting is a metallurgical process where melted metal is solidified into half- form or a plate for subsequent rolling. Continual casting enables cheap manufacture of metal parts better quality, thanks to standardized continuous manufacturing and a better production (with help of automation).
6
Melted steel is transferred into transport ladle, then proceeded into crystallizer and from there continuously exits plasticized blank which is cut to required length. Continuous casting sequence is understood number of casted melts without process interruption.
7
Continuous casting is mostly used with steel but also with aluminium and copper. In accordance with geometric arrangement is divided to: Vertical Horizontal
8
Continuous casting (Tundish and Mold) 1. Ladle 2. Tundish 3. Mold 4. Plasma torch 5. Stopper 6. Straight zone
