A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” v.14 "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” v. 15

7 What it means to let your light shine “You are the Light of the world”

11 How you let your light shine “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.” John 17:15 No oxygen Light goes out

12 Not to boast Matthew 6:2 (ESV) “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. “

13 Light expels darkness Christians are a good example  Attend  Teaches  Good works  Gives liberally

14 A candle will shine just as bright in a cabin as it will in a castle. If you are not a Christian everywhere, then you are not a Christian anywhere.

15 Energy is being consumed It will Cost us:  Time  Energy  Money Rom. 12:1 “living sacrifice”

16 Why Let Your Light Shine ? Matt.5:16 “Let your light so shine before men” Truth will purify - John 15:3 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels” 2 Cor. 4:7

17 Why Let Your Light Shine ? Not to give Christians the glory Our influence should cause others to glorify God.
