2. The primacy of God’s church family There is a special way we OUGHT to behave in GOD’s household. (1 Timothy 3:15; Ephesians 2:19; Hebrews 2:11)

3. Following Jesus comes before ties to physical family. Spiritual family comes first! (Luke 9:59-62; 14:20-24; Matthew 10:34-36; Mark 10: 29-30; Romans 12:10; Galatians 6:10)

4. The church/family exists to glorify God the Father. Children in the family gladly sacrifice themselves for it. (Philippians 4:20; Ephesians 3:21; 5:1-2)

God’s Family We're part of the family, that's been born again Part of the family, whose love knows no end For Jesus has saved us, and made us His own Now were part of the family, that's on it's way home And sometimes we laugh together, sometimes we cry Sometimes we share together heartaches and sighs Sometimes we dream together of how it will be When we all get to heaven, God's family.
