3. You Are a Child of God Human- 5.5 Feet 1 Mile – 5280 feet We are 1 tenth of a percent the height of a mile.

4. You Are a Child of God Earth to Sun- 93 million Miles Sun To Pluto- 3 billion Miles 1 Light year- 5,865,696,000,000 Observable Universe- 46 billion light years

5. You Are a Child of God God notices us despite our insignificant size. We are made in HIS image. Gen. 1:26 God sent his only son to become a man. John 3:16

6. You Are a Child of God As a Child of God, we must act as such. 1 Pet 1:16 We ought to look to Jesus as our example. 1 Cor. 11:1

7. You are a New Creation 2 Cor. 5:17 As a Christian, our lives, mindset, desires, etc. must change. Put off the old man Col 3:9 We are set apart. Rom 6:1-4, 2 Cor. 6:17, We must be different from the rest of the world.

8. You are Not Your Own Your Life belongs to God. Gal 2:20 We were bought at a price. 1 Cor. 6:19,20 Jesus paid the debt for our sins. 1 Pet 1:18-19 We must Deny ourselves. Matt 16:24 We must NEVER stop. Rev 2:10 Consider Paul. Phil. 3:12-15

9. You Must Center You Mind of Spiritual Things Col 3:1-4 Seek those things which are above. Going to heaven ought to be our focus. Phil 2:12, 1 Pet 1:10 2 Tim 2:15. Diligence takes great effort, indicates priority. Phil 4:8 Meditate on spiritual things.

10. You Are to Do Good Works Eph. 2:10. Created for good works. We ought to be zealous for good works. Tit. 2:14. Examples of good works –Teaching others Mark 16:15; by example Matt. 5:14-16 –Encourage others. Heb 10:24-25 –Correct the Erring. Jas 5:19-20; Gal 6:1 –Looking to needs of Others- Eph 4:28

11. You are to Live Godly Tit. 2:11-12 deny ungodliness, and live godly. 1 Tim. 6:6 Rom 12:1-2 Not conformed to this world. We ought to live godly in all relationships. –Family- Eph. 5:25; 6:1-4 –Work- Col 3:22-24; Ecc. 9:10 –Government- Rom 13:6-7 –Our Own Bodies- 1 Tim 4:8 –Material and Financial Matter- Matt 6:19-20 –The World- 1 John 2:15-17; James 4:4

12. You are to Mature in Christ 2 Pet 3:18 Continuous Growth Heb. 5:12 Danger of Complacency Ways to Mature –Producing the Fruit of the Spirit. Gal. 5:22 –Adding virtues to our faith. 2 Pet. 1:5-9 –Diligently Studying God’s Word. 2 Tim 2:15 Acts:20:32; 1 Pet 2:1-2 –Exercising our Senses Heb. 5:14
