(c) is the shock light or severe? attend to these and then treat easily observable injuries  Clear the crowd with nice words.  Do not attend too much.

 Treat the fracture on the spot.  Never attempt to bring the bones to normal position.  Handle very gently. Avoid all unnecessary movements of the injured part.  Apply a splint to give support to the broken bone and to prevent unnecessary movement.

 Clean the area gently with clean water  Submerge the burnt area in cold water.  Apply a solution of salt and water in out of the way places.  Cover the injured part with dry dressing.  Do not apply cotton and any greasy substance to the burns.

 Ask the victim if he/she has had a reaction before.  Wash the sting site with soap and water to prevent infection.  Apply an ice pack over the sting site to slow absorption of the venom and relieve pain. -because been venom is acidic, a paste made of soda and water can help  Seek medical attention if necessary.

 Lay the victim on his/her back.  Raise the victim’s legs 8”-12”to blood to drain from the legs to heart.  Prevent body heat loss by putting coat under and over the victim.

 Stand behind the person, who is choking.  Place your arms around their waist, and bend the body well forward.  Clench your first hand place it right above the person’s navel (belly button).  Place your other hand on top, then thrust both hands backwards into the stomach with a hard, upward movement.  Repeat this until the objet stuck in the throat is expelled through the mouth.

 In an emergency, always call (108).  Your doctor.  The emergency department of your nearest hospital.

 Some knowledge of basic first aid could mean the difference between life and death.  Consider doing a first aid course, so that you will be able to manage if someone is injured or becomes ill.  Keep a range of first aid kits handy at home, in the car and at work.

Knowledge of first aid as well as effective administration of the same will not only help us in times of necessity, but also makes life enjoyable one filled with confidence. prevention is better than cure is an old adage- but a gold one is that it gives the freedom from cure. A first aid training course will do a world of good for having this atmosphere and confidence in ourselves and expression of love and affection to our family members and all.
