4. Surat Al-Fatihah (The Opening Chapter) ( بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ * الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ * الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ * مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ * إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ * اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ * صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ )

5. 1. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i)[5] [5] 2. ('Al-hamdu li l-lâhi rabbi l-`âlam î n(a)

6. 3. ('Ar-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 4. (Mâliki yawmi d-d î n(i)

7. 5. (Iyyâka na`budu wa Iyyâka nasta` î n(u) 6. (Ihdina s-sirâta l-mustaq î m(a) 7. (Sirata l-ladh î na 'an`amta `layhim, ghayri l- maghd û bi `alayhim wa la ddâll î n(a)

8. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 2. Praise be to Allah the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds. 3. Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

9. 4. Master of the Day of Judgment. 5. You (alone) do we worship, and your aid we seek.

10. 6. Show us the straight way! 7. The way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, those whose portion is not wrath and who do not go astray.

11. Surat Al-`Asr (Time through Ages) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ( وَالْعَصْرِ * إِنَّ الإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ * إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْر )

12. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 1.(Wal-`asr(i) 2. ('Inna l-'insâna laf î khusr(in)

13. 3. ('Illa l-ladh î na 'âman û wa `amilu s-sâlihâti) (Wa tawâsaw bi l-haqqi wa tawâsaw bi s- sabr(i) (Wa tawâsaw bi l-haqqi wa tawâsaw bi s- sabr(i)

14. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. By (the token of) time (through the ages) 2. Verily man is in loss,

15. 3. Except those who have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in mutual teaching of truth and of constant patience. [Al-Qur'an 103]

16. Surat Al-Mâ` û n (Neighborly Needs) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ) أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ * فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ * وَلاَ يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ * فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ * الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلاَتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ * الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ * وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُون )

17. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 1. ('Ara'ayta l-ladhi yukadh-dhibu bi d-d î n(i) 2. (Fadhâlika l-ladhi yadu`-`ul yat î m(a) 3. (Wa la yahud-du `lâ ta`âmil misk î n(i)

18. 4. (Fa waylun li l-musal-l î n(a) 5. ('Alladh î na hum `an salâtihim sâh û n(a)

19. 6. (`Alladh î na hum yurâ' û n(a) 7. (Wa yamna` û na l-mâ` û n(a)

20. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. Did you see one who denies the judgment (to come)?

21. 2. Then such is (the man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 3. And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.

22. 4. So, woe to the worshippers 5. Who are neglectful of their prayers,

23. 6. Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 7.But they refuse (to supply even) neighborly needs.

24. Surat Al-Kawthar ((Abundance بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ( إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ * فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ * إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الأَبْتَر )

25. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 1.('Innâ 'a`taynâka l-kawthar(a) 2. (Fa salli li rabbika wa n-har) 3. ('Inna shâni'aka huwa l-'abtar(u)

26. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. To you have We granted the Fount (of abundance).

27. 2. Therefore to your Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. 3. For who hates you, he will be cut off (from future hope).

28. (Surat Al-Ikhlâs (Purity of Faith بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ) قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ * اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ * لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ * وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًاأَحَدٌ )

29. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 1. (Qul huwa l-lâhu ahad(un) 2. ('Al-lâhu s-samad(u)

30. 3. (Lam yalid wa lam y û lad 4. (Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan 'ahad(un)

31. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. Say: He is Allah, the One the Only,

32. 2. Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute; 3. He begets not, nor is He begotten; 4. And there is none like unto Him.

33. Surat Al-Falaq (The Dawn) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ) قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ * مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ * وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ * وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ * وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَد )

34. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 1.(Qul 'a` û dhu bi rabbi l-falaq(i) 2.(Min sharri mâ khalaq(a)

35. 3. (Wa min sharri ghâsiqin 'idhâ waqab(a) 4. (Wa min sharri n-naf-fathâti fi l-`uqad(i) 5. (Wa min sharri hâsidin 'idhâ hasad(a)

36. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, 2. From the mischief of created things;

37. 3. And from the mischief of the darkness as it overspreads; 4. And from the mischief of those who practice secret arts;

38. 5. And from the mischief of the envious one as he practices envy.

39. Surat An-Nâs (Mankind) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ) قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ * مَلِكِ النَّاسِ * إِلَهِ النَّاسِ * مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ * الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ * مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاس )

40. (Bismil-lâhi r-rahmâni r-rah î m(i) 1. (Qul 'a` û dhu bi rabbi n-nâs(i) 2. (Maliki n-nâs(i) 3. ('Ilâhi n-nâs(i)

41. 4. (Min sharri l-waswâsi l-khannâs(i) 5. ('Alladh î yuwaswisu f î sud û ri n-nâs(i) 6. (Mina l-jinnati wa n-nâs(i)

42. Meaning: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1.Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,

43. 2. The King (or Ruler) of Mankind, 3. The (True) god of Mankind, 4. From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),

44. 5. (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind, 6. Among Jinns and among Men.

49. Meaning: 1. All reverence is due to Allah, and (all) worship, and (all) worship, and (all) good, and (all) good,

50. 2. Peace be upon you, O Prophet!, O Prophet!, And the mercy of Allah, and His blessings, And the mercy of Allah, and His blessings,

51. 3. Peace be upon us all, and upon the righteous servants of Allah, and upon the righteous servants of Allah, 4. I bear witness that there is no (true) god but Allah,

52. 5. And I bear witness that Muhammad, is His servant and His Messenger. is His servant and His Messenger.

58. Meaning: 1. O Allah! Send Your grace on Muhammad 2.And on the Family of Muhammad,

59. 3. As You have sent your grace on Ibrahim 4. And on the Family of Ibrahim, 5. And send Your blessings on Muhammad,

60. 6. And on the Family of Muhammad, 7. As You have blessed Ibrahim 8. And the Family of Ibrahim,

61. 9. In this world and in the Hereafter. 10. Verily, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
